If you need many implants to replace several missing teeth, then you may experience some discomfort and low-grade pain. But, usually you only need one or two implants, and you will not have much discomfort. Each patient experiences different level of discomforts after surgery. But, many patients do confess that implant surgery was not painful, as they have thought.
